I wanted to provide you with a sneak peek at the presentation we have pulled together for our outdoor patio and deck design project. I couldn’t be more excited to share this design with them. The floor plans will show you two extremely functional and comfortable outdoor spaces, each with various small conversation gathering spaces.
On the deck we created three intimate areas. The first is right outside their kitchen/breakfast room door. We are proposing a comfortable sectional from Lee Industries. It will be covered in a light grey canvas Sunbrella slip cover. It is facing a fun hanging egg chair which are proposing for a small, somewhat awkward corner. In between are two West Elm concrete tables that are easily movable and could also act as assertional seating. We are create a chaise lounge which can also act as additional seating facing our 2nd gathering area. We added a bench and two chairs towards the back of the deck. This area will also have two concrete tables for placing drinks or additional seating. We are adding punches of fun color with some accent pillows in a Schumacher fabric and an updated chevron fabric from Etsy.
A gorgeous dining table from Oasiq is complimented by chairs from Harbour Outdoor. The chair cushions will be in a grey sunbrella fabric. Above we have custom designed a “candelier” using candle holders from ZGallerie. A few key accessories and the space if modern, clean lined but also ready for fun and entertaining.
The large patio was divided into three hang out areas. The first area, by the fire pit will be comfortably furnished with these fabulous Tides Outdoor Lounges by Padma’s Planation. Three of them will create comfortable seating around a warm fire. We are proposing that the client add two custom bar height tables around existing columns between the fire pit area and the lounging area.
Finally, we created a large, comfortable seating area under the deck. A large sofa, two chairs and two ottomans can create one large or two smaller gathering areas with plenty of seating. Console tables from Restoration Hardware help to bring the indoors out. A few pieces of outdoor artwork and two outdoor lamps finish off this outdoor room.
